I just got back from Perhentian Island and I will share you our itinerary.

Pick 2D1N cause I'm working and my cuti is currently beku so yah. Just pick the best time. We booked the package from travel agent. There are so many travel agencies that offers you several packages. You might find them through Instagram but must ensure the agent is trusted. We chose Perhentian Sohhor and I think it's affordable for our 1 night stay.

Under the package it offers :

Day 1: Melaka Sentral - TBS - Terminal Kuala Besut

07.00 pm - Basically we booked a bus from Melaka Central to TBS (RM11/person) via RedBus.

We hop on Delima Express at 7pm sharp as the bus was punctual. Extra information, the bus was comfortable for short hour journey and it took 2H to arrive TBS. The arriving was on schedule.

09.00 pm - As our next bus was at 10pm, so we took some time to perform our Jama' Prayer at the Surau and bought some snack for the next day.

10.00 pm - The bus we took was Express Perdana from TBS to Terminal Kuala Besut. Booked via RedBus for sure (RM44.88/person). Comfortable for long journey. Basically no dizziness and all. Apa yang slacked sikit adalah, the estimated time arrived was 4am and the bus rupanya dropped passengers all over Kelantan first then only to Kuala Besut. We reached Kuala Besut almost 7am can you imagine. I was scared and worried sick takut terlepas drop point. Luckily Helmi handled my gelabah-ness.

Tips:

- You can use any promotional code to get discount from RedBus.

- You can book your bus via online kindly check which medium ShopBack offers so you can redeem cashback. RedBus is not included under ShopBack at this date.

Day 2: Terminal Kuala Besut - Jeti Kuala Besut - Pulau Perhentian

07.00 am - Usai solat Subuh, we booked GrabCar to Jeti Kuala Besut. RM4/car. Some might took the cab but the cab can charge you up to RM10/car. Maybe you can divide with each other if you come in large group.

07.15 am - The driver sent us to a cafe. So we managed to grab a light breakfast before we naik boat. RM8.70 for 2 plates of fried mi hoon and 1 cup of teh tarik. Made my day.

09.00 am - Waited for the boat to gerak and honestly lama nak mampus. Sempat charge phone kasi full leh. Oh other boat departure time: 8am/12pm/4pm.

09.30 am - Arrived at Pulau Perhentian and we changed to our swimming suit lol. Then we ready for snorkelling

10.10 am - Snorkelling

First point: Fish point. I really enjoyed myself. Recording videos. Taking photos. Sumpah. Haha it was fun and I was so excited whenever I saw the fishes. Apatah lagi banyak ikan datang when feed them with bread.

Turtle point: Gahh I was excited at first when I saw the turtle kat bawah. Turtle took time nak naik permukaan. Kalau naik berebut orang kejar for 1 turtle. Siapa yang dapat tengok turtle berenang naik permukaan dekat tepi tu syok lah. Aku rabun doh jadi tengok susuk je. Honestly, I thought there were many turtles. Ended up there was only 1 turtle and you will compete and struggle to watch the turtle naik permukaan lah.

Shark point: Sadly, I took other person punya mask and dia punya mask cam tak ketat. Then air masuk hidung. I had difficulties diving cause the sea water masuk dalam hidung. Bayangkan dia masin and air tu terkena mata. Obviously this point macam slack sikit cause my mask not giving full cooperation. Untuk survive I have to tutup hidung guna tangan and dive in. Taraaa. And the ombak kuat sikit kat sini, I was really tired melawan ombak plus dengan mask tak bagi kerjasama. Overall ikan jerung tak muncul. Apatah lagi baby shark.

Tips:
- Boat departure time: 8am/12pm/4pm
- Where sunscreen. Terbakar weh.

- Bring your snacks. Either roti in case nak bagi ikan makan or biscuits if you wanna alas perut after pergi snorkelling point lain. Snorkelling is tiring and you need to reenergize. Warning: Jangan buang sampah di dalam laut!!!

- Don't forget to bring mineral water as snorkelling is quite tiring.

- Bring your phone waterproof cover if you don't have GoPro etc.

- Yang rabun, wearing glasses sadly you need to bukak glasses okay semasa pakai snorkelling mask. Tak nampak benda jauh lah of course.

01.25 pm - They sent us to Fisherman Village. Had our lunch at this kedai. Kedai makan ni macam medan selera tau. I forgot to take a picture of the kedai. Sebab there were several kedai makan, but this one memang not bad lah rasa dia and for me cheap macam kat tanah besar. Kedai dia tengah-tengah and tepi lorong tengah tu. Ramai orang beratur kat dia. My lunch set was RM6 (nasi, ayam, sayur). Okay lah. Some of them makan sotong and udang pun RM15 macam tu so for me quite affordable. Kenyang lah kan. Also we had our coconut shake RM3/cup and Ice Blended RM3/cup.

02.25 pm - Snorkelling

Light house: Weh tak snorkelling pun kat sini. I don't really mind sebabnya scary gak ah tengah laut and ombak kuat. Haha

Romantic beach: Gahhhhh the point yang paling aku suka. Because another lovely and friendly fishes around here. Cute and banyak gila ikan. There were different types of ikan. Found nemo. Unable to snap the photo. Then I found ada ikan ni macam rainbow warna dia! Ada ikan yang besar jugak. Best gila. Yang tak best sebab sekejap. I really enjoyed being here. Tenang.

03.30 pm - Sudah snorkelling, we checked in at Fatimah Chalet and yeah had some rest. Mandi, solat and rehat. Sedihnya cause we realized that sweater Jia hilang!!!! Somebody probably took it cause we gantung at this one staff punya tempat sebab pagi tu masa tukar baju kita tak dapat check in lagi. Sedih and bersalah because aku yang gantung sweater tuuuu! Dah le she just bought the sweater.

05.15 pm - Hiking to Windmill. Everyone took photos there. So I wanted to go there too. But at the end of the day, after tak dapat kepuasan lain, I regret for hiking at this windmill. If and only if I didn't go there.

Honestly, if you have extra energy you can go there. The view was breathtaking.Yang suka susah susah dahulu, senang-senang kemudian, I recommend you. Haha because the view, worth the muscle sore.

But if you want to relax, mandi pantai yeaaaaaap and yes ada masa yang singkat like us. You better don't. Muscle sore one thing. Then esok tu dah balik so you don't have enough time to play with the fishes. Nanti you gonna sad and regret.

It took like 45 mins from our Chalet including borak sikit kat atas sampai turun bawah balik. Naik penat sebab mendaki kan, tapi turun tu laju je. Advisable pakai kasut yang selesa quite slippery sikit kalau pakai sandal yang nipis.

07.00 pm - After habis kat hiking about 1H 30M we sat by the beach. Longbeach serious meriah. If you know Chenang Beach, macam tu lah lebih kurang. Talking and wondering. Sharing experience and thoughts. Sampai lah dah pukul 8pm macam tu we walked along the Longbeach then we bought a juice at this juice bar. Ordered watermelon and apple milkshake. RM8/plastic cup.

08.00 pm - Walked to our Chalet. Too tired. Muscle kaki dah start sakit. Hahahaha sumpah weh. Effect daripada hiking. Nangis weh. Then when we reached our chalet, we took shower, beli air panas from the cafe (Fatimah Chalet got cafe), solat and we had our dinner. Our dinner was tomyam Maggie cup and also the milkshake. Enough to alas our perut for that night then we slept. Internet sangat slow ye jadi we barely online. Call pun susah. Hujan malam masa dinner tu. Literally tak tengok pun Fireshow. Ada hikmah lah kenapa naik windmill tu. 

Day 3 : Pulau Perhentian - Kuala Besut - TBS - Melaka Sentral

A bit sad when we had to woke up early and balik. We woke up as early as 6.15am. Packed our stuff and 7.30am we ready to take our last photos by the beach. Alaaa sedihnya.

08.00 am - Luckily the boat arrived on time.

08.30 am - We arrived at the Kuala Besut Jetty.

We had trouble to get GrabCar near the jetty. Mostly, the GrabCar isn't allowed to enter the area as they have a tiny dispute between the taxi driver (sumber from a local). Honestly if you want to book GrabCar, you need to walk 5meters to the main road cause it is easier for the GrabCar to pick you. Besides, it's quite busy at the jetty. Cars would be stucked for several minutes. RM4/car.

Our bus driver already called us. Ingin tahu keberadaan kami. Agak garang ye slang Kelantan.

"kok mane nih? Bah nok gerak doh. Bile nok sampai. Ho limo minit jeh, kalau tak tinggal"

Damn I was shaking and so emotional. When I become so emotional, I tend to get angry. Ugh. Dah lah emo balik awal daripada pulau pun tak habis.

Luckily the Grab driver helped us. Dia tahan bas tu!!! And we rushed lah masuk bas semua. Jia turun dulu tanya bas tu. I swear to God I was so emotional. I said sorry to the bus driver. We cannot missed the bus sebab the bus already booked. Kalau tak burn lah RM40.30/ticket.

09.05 am - Bas Queen Express bergerak menuju ke Jerteh, ke Tok Janggut tetiba sampai Kelantan. It was 1.15pm when we arrived at Gua Musang. Nak muntah loya semua pening. The bus seriously made us sick. Probably sebab duduk tingkat atas and cahaya terang dari luar. Ee. Menyesal pilih tingkat atas. Bought a lot of snacks and asam jambu only because I feel like vomit. OMG sumpah doh. Spent RM17.50 at the petrol station. Bas sambung berjalan at 2pm, we were still at Gua Musang then we had our lunch. I spent RM6/plate. Literally ambil sikit je nasi sebab takda selera gila nak makan due to dizziness.

07.00 pm - Oh my god it took almost 10 hours to reach KL from Kuala Besut literally because the bus naik Kelantan dulu. Seriously not recommended unless if you have extra hours semua then it's up to you. If you come with large group of people, you better drive sendiri lah. So you won't waste hours on the bus. Basically our return ticket to Melaka was burnt.

08.00 pm - After finished perform jama' prayer, we heading back to Melaka. We bought the ticket directly at TBS (RM11.40/ticket). Then, we reached Melaka at 10.00pm. 

Dah habis.

That's basically hahahahahha our 2D 1N trip to Pulau Perhentian. Personally, 2D 1N tu cukup if the next day tu, you have long hours at the pulau since boat ada 3 departure time. So boleh je balik lewat sikit and main main tepi pantai ke apa. Kita rugi sikit sebab kejar bas. Tapi ada hikmah lah naik bas awal pagi, sesungguhnya, manusia hanya merancang, Tuhan lebih mengetahui. Kalau amek bas lewat pun akan sampai Melaka lewat and the next day kena pergi kerja. Redha jelah. Kalau you tanak rush, better ambil 3D 1N. Cari lah pekej yang sesuai and murah. Banyak je. I will repeat Pulau Perhentian, but since dah naik windmill, I would spend my free time searching fishes.
